Walkways that follow the space
The walkway beside this Needham home combines warm-toned rectangular pieces with a dark border. Its curved outline follows the space between the house and the lawn, while outdoor steps connect the different levels along the route.
The confirmed work also includes plantings. Gravel and decorative rocks frame the path. The wider view and the closer look at the steps show both the layout and the details of the finished surface.
A connection along the side yard
Along the side of the house, a sequence of dark stepping stones continues through the gravel. This section passes through the white gate and meets the stepped walkway alongside the home.
The photographs look along this route from both directions. Small plants and decorative rocks sit between the house and the evergreen hedge, giving the path a clear place within the surrounding garden.
